What Is Dahua WizMind?

WizMind is a series of Dahua AI products and intelligent AI features designed for demanding, project-oriented applications. The portfolio includes IPCs, NVRs, PTZ cameras, XVRs, thermal cameras, and software platforms built on industry-leading deep-learning algorithms and powerful AI chips. WizMind is designed to deliver precise, reliable, and comprehensive AI support, enabling accurate detection and classification of humans and vehicles, fast and targeted AI search for relevant targets, and the usable data for business analytics.

Dahua WizMind includes advanced AI features that go beyond the core analytics functions of WizSense and, depending on the model, provide specialised tools for identifying relevant targets, attribute-based search, statistical evaluation, and advanced video analytics:

• Video Metadata supports the detection, tracking, and attribute extraction of humans, vehicles, and non-motorised vehicles, enabling the rapid location of relevant targets in video footage.
• Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) recognises and processes vehicle licence plates for access control, inspection, parking, and traffic applications.
• People Counting records entries, exits, and the current occupancy level within the monitored area, providing reliable statistical data.
• Heat Map visualises movement and dwell patterns and supports the evaluation of space utilisation and visitor flows.
• Queue Management analyses queue conditions based on occupancy and waiting time.
• Auto Tracking automatically follows relevant targets with PTZ cameras and keeps them in view continuously.
• PPE Detection identifies personal protective equipment such as safety helmets, workwear, face masks, gloves, or shoe covers, depending on the device model and application.
